Did you know...

So, my brother ended up having to go to the E.R today.

He had severe pain behind his eyes and faintness and nausea(I think).

He ended up having severe dehydration, and it was contributed to by going to Utah last weekend, where it was soooo dry and high elevation.

The doctor ended up telling my brother that anything like, soda, coffee, tea, and even crystal light, drinks that have sugar in them (and sugar in general), dehydrate you. The sugar does something on a cellular level, that actually dehydrates you when you drink it, instead of hydrating you, like most people think it does. Even powdered drinks (Gatorade, crystal light, anything else that I can't think of). Things like this may make you feel hydrated, but, say you drink 10 oz. of crystal light/powdered  Gatorade, only 3 oz of that will be absorbed as hydration.

So yeah...Theres a nice, random fact for you :)

I think I maybe dehydrated, cause right now I have a major headache, I hardly drink anything, and my eyes hurt.... :( Poop.
